I, the undersigned, hereby agree to the following as a condition of my participation in martial arts classes and training at Strike Strong Martial Arts:

1. Assumption of Risk

I acknowledge and understand that martial arts training involves physical activity that is strenuous and may include, but is not limited to:

• Warm-up exercises such as stretching, running, and bodyweight exercises.
• Basic to advanced techniques in karate including punches, kicks, blocks, and strikes.
• Sparring sessions involving controlled contact with other participants.
• Self-defense drills that may involve physical contact.
• Use of training equipment such as pads, bags, and protective gear.

I recognize that participation in these activities carries inherent risks, including but not limited to:

• Sprains, strains, and muscle tears.
• Fractures and broken bones.
• Bruises and contusions.
• Concussions and other head injuries.
• Other serious bodily injuries.

2. Medical Clearance

I declare that I am physically fit and do not suffer from any medical condition that would preclude me from participating in martial arts activities. I understand it is my responsibility to consult with a physician before starting any new exercise program, including martial arts.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Strike Strong Martial Arts, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, while participating in martial arts training or while on the premises, regardless of whether such loss is caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise.

4. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Strike Strong Martial Arts, its owners, instructors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any loss, liability, damage, or costs they may incur due to my participation in martial arts training, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

5. Photography and Video Release

I understand that Strike Strong Martial Arts may take photographs or videos during classes and events for promotional purposes. I grant permission for my likeness to appear in such materials without compensation.

6. Governing Law

This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Strike Strong Martial Arts operates.

Acknowledgment of Understanding

I have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, fully understand its terms, and understand that I am giving up substantial rights, including my right to sue. I acknowledge that I am signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend by my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
